Zahir Shah Sherazi has a double bachelor’s in Pure Sciences and Education and a master’s degree in English Literature from Peshawar University. He also completed his MSc in Journalism. He began his career in journalism in 1994 as a reporter and sub-editor with the Frontier Post, the first English-language newspaper of the NWFP.
After working with the paper for six years, he joined Statesman, an English-language daily, in 2000 as a City Editor. Then in 2007, he became a key member of Dawn News. He has worked with several top media organizations, including BBC, Al-Jazeera, CNN and others. He has also made several groundbreaking documentaries on political, scientific and socio-economic issues and received four International Agahi Awards in recognition of his outstanding work in journalism.
