MQM leader Amir Khan’s revelations trigger political storm

KARACHI: Pakistan’s prominent journalist Mubasher Lucman on Monday came up with detained Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan’s confessional statement after his arrest by Rangers from party headquarters, ARY News reported.

Lucman came up with Amir Khan’s statement in his once banned talk show ‘Khara Sach’ and revealed that MQM leader Amir Khan told investigators that since his rejoining the party in 2011, many of the MQM leaders started criminal activities with his support.

Some of the office bearers he named were Babar Ghouri, Wasim Aftab, Umair Siddiqui, Hammad Siddiqui, Adil Siddiqui, Abdullah Sheikh, Shakil Umar, Farooq Salim, Anees Sheikh, Islam Fauji, Raees Mamma, Doctor Gul Hasan Zaidi, Manzoor Lamba and Sultan Moosa.
