Junaid Khan injured during practice session
LAHORE: Pakistan fast bowler Junaid Khan has stretched his hamstring during practice session at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
According to details, Junaid Khan slipped during practice session and stretched his hamstring. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) doctors have advised him rest while if he still feels pain in his hamstring till evening than he will be referred for Manufacturer Incident Report (MIR).
The doctors are still checking how savior the injury is. However there is no statement whether bowler able to play in the World Cup 2015 or not.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Pakistan cricket team practice in indoor academy due to wet out field on Wednesday (yesterday) due to rain. But on Thursday (today) green-shirts are busy in practice at Gaddafi Stadium. Junaid recently recovered from Knee injury and started playing in domestic tournament.
