DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) has refused to send umpires to Pakistan for the series against Zimbabwe, but also made some relaxation in the rules so the country can host the long waited international series.

According to details, ICC refused to send elite panel umpires in Pakistan due to security concerns but allowed the country to choose its own umpires for the series.

ICC also given international statues to One-day matches of the series which are scheduled to be played in May.

It is pertinent to mention here that this is the first time that a Test playing nation is visiting Pakistan after Sri Lankan Cricket Team attack in 2009.
